With over three decades of restaurant-style cooking, Norris Barr, also known as Chef Ras, has become More Wicked Than the Rest in preparing authentic Jamaican cuisine. 

Ras mentions he loves to watch the reactions to his meals. 

I am either bringing back memories of the food or making new memories introducing the food to new customers. Each reaction is priceless, says Ras.

His favorite dish to prepare is jerk chicken Ras represents Jamaica nothing says Jamaica is like jerk chicken. Ras continues to improve his techniques over time. His signature jerk sauces are what sets him apart from others. 

When preparing traditional meals or creating meals, he always uses authentic Jamaican styles and flavors in each one. It does not matter if cooking for one person or one thousand people. Every meal he prepares with his passion and love for authentic Jamaican preparation styles. 

 

“I will be in the kitchen 1000 hours if I have to,” say’s Ras. Chef says shortcuts are not an option with me; I enjoy the process and techniques each meal requires to give it Jamaican authenticity. 



Ras Kitchen offers a banquet hall setting (1 room)
The banquet hall offers 3400 square feet of space for classroom, meeting, reception  or celebration purposes. 
This space is equipped for exhibit or booth space, depending on the booth concept and booth space, there is 3400 space available for creativity. 
There is A/V equipment available. 
There is catering is onsite, no outside food or drinks allowed other than celebration cake. 
There is beer and wine and wine based cocktails available for packages, no outside alcohol. 
This is an indoor, completely private venue in a sound proof space above the restaurant with private bar and his and her restrooms that could be used for dressing room space. 
This space is wheel chair assessable and is equipped with spiral staircase perfect for photos, and elevator.
